The MPS Terminated MaxxECU Sport EFI Harness simplifies the installation of your MaxxECU Sport EFI on Suzuki Hayabusa, Suzuki GSXR1000, Suzuki GS, Kawasaki ZX14, Kawasaki ZX10, and Kawasaki KZ motorcycles. The harness was designed for the ECU to be mounted in the front under the dash or in the rear subframe. The harness is covered and terminates all the critical (needed to run) components of the EFI system. Using this terminated harness will greatly reduce the chance of problems when installing your MaxxECU EFI system. If you are not comfortable or do not have the tools to crimp all the styles of connectors this harness is for you.
This harness will plug into your crank sensor (customer specified type – GSXR1000, ZX14, ZX10, MPS Hall Effect pick up for GS & KZ), cam sensor (customer specified type – Gen 1 & Gen 2 Hayabusa, GSXR1000), injectors (customer specified type – Gen 1 Hayabusa, Gen 2 Hayabusa, GSXR1000, Bosch EV1, and Bosch EV14 ), Throttle Position Sensor (customer specified type – Gen 1 Hayabusa, Gen 2 Hayabusa, and ZX14), Bosch style igniter (MPS p/n 1-0783), coils (stock or aftermarket stick type), air temperature sensor (customer specified type – Suzuki or MPS), coolant temperature sensor (customer specified type – Suzuki or MPS), Bosch Style O2 Sensor, fuel pressure (MPS p/n 1-0597), and oil pressure (MPS p/n 1-0598). A MAP sensor is not required as the MaxxECU has a built in MAP sensor. A MAP sensor is not used for normally aspirated or nitrous applications. Both fuel pressure and oil pressure are optional sensors and are not needed to run the bike.
There are 5 additional sub harnesses that connect to the main harness: injector harness, coil harness, input harness, output harness, and auxiliary (handlebar controls) harness.
